Angela! A group of Honors Induction Leaders Munch Munch The whole Frosh Honors crew Funny story - so apparently I am overly aggressive on the race track and one of the innocent international students who had no idea what she was doing got in my way, so I decided to give her a little forbidden tap with my car and she spun out and hit the wall and was stuck until the guys pulled her out. Oops! But now we're the best of friends- hoorah! Jennifer attaching her harness Watch Jennifer climb....

     9.8.05 - Miha and I resumed our hair-dying    traditions

KB, Me, Liz, Susannah So playing on the beach one night we found this and took it back because it was dead. But then we realized it was alive and ran a rescue mission to get him back to the ocean Boring training... let's go back to the beach Lots of hugs! Me and Kayla Oh Shoeba, could you be any cuter The whole group

Donald and Clovis - sexiest fellas on campus

Maybe we're too much alike....

9.30.05 - Rhonda comes to visit! And we conform her girly-resistant ways and curl her hair, pluck her eyebrows, apply makeup *gasp* 10.01.05 - College Republicans! We spent a Saturday night at the governor's mansion for a republican fundraiser. It was rough - all we did was hobnob and eat BBQ. And yes these are the only girls out of the whole campus who I could round up - I'm a shitty president, I know.  10.27-29.05 - Honors conference at St. Louis! Needless to say, it kicked ass. We stayed in a posh hotel that served the most amazing food... A fat girl's dream. My school sponsored a silent auction to raise money for Katrina victims, but when we weren't doing that, we were checking out other presentations or hitting up the town. And of course, we wandered downtown to checkout the arch!

View of our room Diana showing off our room Miha and I explore the streets of St Louis  Miha and I at the conference The silent auction our school put on Keri, Jennifer, Amanda   Apparently I can't get enough pictures of Miha and myself

11.16.05 - Some retail therapy

Our fridge is stocked with the essentials (diet soda and slimfast) This picture... so we took it making fun of girls down the hall from us and put it on facebook. They definitely found it and printed it out and hung it up on their door next to the original. Along with the caption of us confessing we were making fun of them, of course.

2.28.06 - Celebrating Mardi Gras with some cotton candy

Because the night belongs to lovers!

4.1.06 - The usual photo shoot before going out dancing

The perfect Dolce pose We are so the best London bridge that ever was... I could so be "The Lady in the Water" of that fountain... (btw that's a terrible movie and I advise you to avoid seeing it at all costs) Taken shortly before we fell to our deaths Now I know how that damn mime felt...   No cooler place to hang than the stairs... Elizabeth crawling around on the roof Gergana and I! We have no shame - we pose everywhere. All these people from the honors conference were walking by very impressed...

4.8.06 - Honors conference at Disney World!

8.24-25.05 - Honors orientation! I moved to the SC a week earlier to be an Honors Induction Leader. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I did it - I got to meet a lot of cool chicas and I got to move in early. But basically all I did was facilitate ice-breakers, lead a book discussion on Pride and Prejudice (unfortunately this required me to read it), and take them to cool places like a fun park and a tour of Columbia's historic homes. All in all, I'd do it again if I could. But I can't, so I won't.

Stop being perfect Oooh an action shot - intense Do I always look like an ogre

STEMS retreat! - One of my jobs this year is a student engagement mentor (STEM). To prepare for this position, we had a retreat at the Isle of Palms, near Charleston. It was rough having to attend meetings on the beach and homecooked food. And don't even get me started on leisure time... But then a hurricane came.

9.21.05 - My suitemates, Diana and Miha! This was taken right before Miha and I ventured out for shag lessons

10.11.05 - A little something we like to call post-break-up hair-do

View of St Louis from the arch! The arch is crazy - you take this rickety little cable cars to the top and once you're up there (it's enclosed) you can feel the structure swaying in the wind   11.02.05 - Liz and I went out for dinner at a Mexican restaurant. But beforehand, we got into a bit of mischief. We had to return a rental DVD and once we got in the car we realized we forgot it in the room. Being the lazy fat kids that we are (have some sympathy - afterall we do live on the third floor!), we called up our suitemate Diana and asked her to toss it out the window to us below. Well we forgot our window has a screen on it, but Diana still followed orders also neglecting the presence of the screen. She ended up sending the screen plummeting into the bush below, but rest assure, Elizabeth retrieved it.

College Republicans ringin' some bells at the ghetto Wal-Mart (poor planning as it was not exactly a very Republican-friendly area)

Oh c'mon... who doesn't toliet surf in their free time  Then we put my IHOP uniforms to good use

12.01.05 - Before going dancing we had a little photo shoot....

12.06.05 - Sara, Rhonda,& Liz laying about

CIMG4489.JPG (173165 bytes)

12.15.05 - Liz and I road-tripped up to DC for winter break and while searching for a bathroom we  found the best solution for separation anxiety for two girls attached at the hip.

4.2.06 - It was definitely so hot on campus (because our school refused to turn on the a/c) that we had to break into Liz's uncle's house to sleep in his bed and eat his popsicles... and pass out along the way....

Campsite just big enough for the four of us! Me, representing Husky track wherever I go! I'm not sure if I'm hiding from the camera or admiring my awesomely spacious tent Definitely hiding....  The beach was divine.... I collected millions of shells and made a painting with them (refer to art gallery) So Liz's little bunson burner thing definitely didn't work, so we gathered drift wood to make a fire and we definitely set cans of spaghettios right on the fire - yum! the stuff on the edges scalded us but the inside stuff was cold - mmMM good!  Yea ferry! We had to wait forever for it but it was free! And it was obvious that the creepy workers never leave the island - definitely the basis for a good horror movie right there.... Hiding from the murderous ferry workers within the locked doors of Clovis

5.5.06 - Camping at Ocracoke! Nothing like spending Cinco de Mayo on an abandoned island with your favorite homegirl!
